Pvt. Benjamin Barton has finished Basic Training and Airbourne Training at Ft. Benning in Georgia.  He is currently stationed at Ft. Drum in New York in the 10th Mountain Division.  He is in pre-ranger school and receiving extensive training. He will be deployed to Afghanistan sometime in November.  He is Mrs. McDonald’s nephew and resides with her family when not on base.  Throughout the year the third grade sends cards and care packages for Ben and his unit.
