GUITAR CLUB

The Singin' Strings Dulcimer Club at St. Joseph Academy has been a huge success since 2006.  Several of the students in the SSDC wanted to learn another instrument that could be incorporated into the dulcimer club. 

I thought it would be difficult to juggle teaching two different instruments within a 45-minute period.  So, I decided to start a new club.  At first, I thought only the students in the dulcimer club would be the only ones interested in this new endeavor, but I quickly found out that I was wrong!  There are 16 students in the guitar club in grades 5-8.  I already have fourth graders asking to join for next year!
