Our preschool teacher was honored recently with the “Teacher of Excellence Award for Excellence in Early Care and Education” by the Boone County Community Early Childhood Council.  Parents of preschool children throughout the county were asked to nominate a preschool teacher who has provided care for a minimum of two years, and write an essay giving reasons for their choice.  A representative from the Boone County Public Library presented our preschool teacher with the award.  Parents praise her for her enthusiasm and passion for teaching, her strict manner of discipline but at the same time have the students love and respect her, routines which build discipline and at the same time create a safe, healthy environment for the children, and her superior style of teaching.
